Words allow us to share our stories with the world.

Are you working on a personal statement for college or graduate school admissions?

When I prepared applications for college and graduate school, I hoped the admissions committee would know my story. A resume, test scores, and grades showed some information, but the essay was my platform to tell my story in my own voice.

In the process of getting words on paper and into a personal statement, I fell in love with the process of discovering my story and finding the words to share it.

I’ve worked on an admissions committee and coached dozens of students with their personal statements.

I’d love to help you to tell your story.

Sherrie is just wonderful! She helped me throughout my application, from brainstorming to the final version. Sherrie is a very good writer, an amazing listener, and also very easy to communicate with. When I was not sure how to write some sentences on my application, but I had the main idea in my head, she was very helpful to help me write it down. I highly recommend her.”
